I know someone that has just got a 1000F and the battery is dead. I've not seen it in person but decided to check eBay for a charger but I cannot find one. Does this need a charger or is there somewhere on the camera that has a port for charging?

The Canon Eos 1000F is a 35mm film camera which requires a non-rechargeable 6V 2CR5 lithium battery pack.
