Yes
I think I already know the answer but I will ask anyway.

I recently took photo's at a friends do and am putting them a stylebook together for a present.

I know they will come back and say aunt aida wants a copy of that one, can we have all of your pics on a disc etc.

I don't have a problem putting the album pics on a disc but have tons of others which I wasn't planning to process and I am really short of time and will have spent hours as it is on the style book.

I thought that if they want me to do the whole lot then I could put them on photobox and charge a small fee for the prints that aunt aida etc want as a way of comensating me for my time

is this a really bad thing to do????

Yeah really pwn Aunt Aida, what has she done for you lately?

Perfectly fair I am sure that they will expect to pay you for your pictures etc.Agree with Ross just what has aunt Aida done for you lately come to think of it whats she done for me as well:lol:

This is where it gets a bit woolly. Non photographers have no idea how long it can take to prepare a montage or even just process photo's and I can imagine most not understanding why I don't just want to give them all the photo's.

I can't really find a way to explain it to them either! After all they didn't employ me as a photographer, I chose to take them.......or maybe I was only invited because they knew I would bring my camera.....? God my head is messed up today!

Upload them onto a share album on photobox and let them pic what they want and they can pay for it. You haven't necessarily (sp) got to make a profit on them ( personally i would add a small amount to cover processing time to upload them etc)) but at least you are out of the hassle of printing them. Then they can have as many copies of whichever pics they want
