Charging batteries

Can anyone tell me if you can charge 3rd party batteries for a Canon 500D (7dayshop own) with the original Canon charger?

Haven't bought any yet but I can't seem to find out if you can or can't.

I have two for my 50D and they work fine. They seem to last as long as the original one. Got them off ebay for a fraction of the cost.

I use 3rd party batteries for my 400d and they charge fine in the canon charger

7day' battery's are ok use them all the time with there charger and Nikon's, and the price is right to....

I use 7day batteries as backups for my Nikon SLRs, Canon compact and did for my now dead Oly compact. All of them charge in the original manufacturer's chargers and work just fine.
