Characture software

Can anyone recommend a good characture software package or a good plugin for Photoshop please, just wanted to see how it turns out with some friends photos

I think the OP wants to turn pics of his friends into cartoon characters.

Caricature software.

characture and cartoon are two different animals, cartoon is easy enough, plenty of free actions about. Characture on the other hand involved manipulating the features, most often into a line drawing. Thats a bit harder to do. I doubt theres a program to do it, you could use liquify and then a line drawing action, but it depends on exactly what your trying to get as an end result.

Sorry I didnt make my self clear, yes I wanted some software that would turn friends photos into cartoon type pics, I noticed a couple of internet companys charging £30 odd for the priverlage
