Pfft forgot this was this evening, we got let down by a supplier at work so my flat screen is now stuck in the office til Sunday!

Looked like a giggle and a half and from the look of the adverts it appears My Big Fat Pikey wedding was just to politcally incorrect pffft...
 
I agree. Showed actually how I was a wee bit predjudice too against travellers. Some funny as hell moments though.
 
I enjoyed that! Opened my eyes a little to their lifstyle choices to. So now I'm thinking the young girls dress like that not because they are 'easy' but because they want to entice a husband.

Those dresses were something else though :eek: did you hear the dressmaker when she said one dress weighed 27stone!
 
If they live in caravans, where do they keep the dresses after they are married ?? wifes still got hers in a case in the loft,
 
Brilliant programme, loved it.
 
I just watched this on line. Must say it was an eye opener and it does make you realise there are unnecessary prejudices against these people. I felt sorry for Joan, the last bride, she seemed so scared and uncertain of what the future held for her. She seemed determined to make her new life work with her new husband, but I was expecting a footnote as the credits rolled that their marriage had failed within a month. I think some of the dresses were OTT and some of the guests, well words mutton and lamb do spring to mind.
 
Neil, her marriage cannot fail, I was thinking the same as you, she looked terrified. Was a really good programme.
