changing to raw

i have a canon 400d, how do i change it to shoot in raw?

Set it in the `Quality` section of your your camera menu (it's in the manual). Some image editing software won't open RAW - shout if you need a steer on this.

As Above. It will then display RAW in the LCD at the bottom. A bit like the second image (scroll down a little) here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos400d/page5.asp

when you're in JPEG mode, I think it displays a letter like 'M' (medium), 'L' (Large) etc.
When in RAW mode it will display 'RAW'.
