Edit My Images
Yes
So i took a few pics of each of my children.
i opened a blank file in ps cc and after i edited each of the pics i copied and pasted on to the blank file.
but they are to big and i cant work out how to use the tool to change there size, the one when the arrows appear in the corner of the pic etc

could anyone tell me how to

cheers all

mat

Select the layer you posted the image into, then press CTRL+T to enter free transform. Press and hold shift, then drag the corners in to resize.

Would it not be better to just start with a larger blank file so you don't need to resize?.. or does it need to be a certain pixel size?

You could also just resize the images before you copy and paste them in.

Go to image>image size and see how big the pic is. Reduce it to smaller than the blank you're using. Shout if that doesn't make sense!

what it is i saw a video on a montage and i wanted to try it, i remember them saying to use a4 as the blank file so i thought thats what i should use

but yes your probably right

Here's a vid I just recorded. Opened a 36MP image copied it and pasted it into an A3 page.. clearly it doesn't fit. Just CTRL+T and hold the shift key while making it smaller.... then reposition it to continue sizing with the shift key held.
