The title just about says it all !!!!!

Just been getting a 120 film sorted for developing with a view of getting a shot from it for my film 52.

Changing bag,.... tank, spiral, scissors and film inside....all ready to go..

Ah just a sec, need to send an email ....done sorted , ok now the film.......

All goes well, loads easily onto spiral etc etc ...super.

Tank lid in place, remove arms from bag and open bag to remove tank..........Errrrr bag already
unzipped Arghhhhhhh! :bang: :bang:

I cannot find suitable words to express how I feel at this moment without getting myself banned! :annoyed:

Why oh why did it have to be a full roll of film ....if it had been one sheet then perhaps I could accept it better.:sulk:

At the moment the film is sat in the tank ....I'm trying to convince myself that maybe, just maybe the fact that the bag is large and the film was near the arm holes means I just might get some images if I soup it????

Was it zip up or zip down?

You may as well soup it anyway, what have you got to lose?

the bag has one zip and then has an additional velcro closure all of which was open!

There is a lot of "spare material" which may have laid ok whilst i was dealing with the film at the arms end of the bag but I somehow doubt it will have been 100% lightight

Such a careless mistake.....quite a laugh really as I'm going to teach my stepdaughter how to go on soon.....yeah right!! lol

well - lets look on it as a learning exercise then... that's one mistake you hopefully won't make when you're teaching your stepdaughter the routine... ;)

tbh I feel like throwing it off the balcony.....Rationally i guess you're right but will have to leave it a bit til I calm down.

It's only a few week back that I devd in stop solution then wondered why I had a beautiful transparent pieces of film!

Too much mediterranean sun frying my brains perhaps!! lol

She'd laugh if I tell her telling me it's due my age lol.......she's one of these "multitasked" teenagers that can litterally concentrate on several things at once......I might have to set "traps" during her dev training to try catch her out :D :D

I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't done that stupid thing but I've done plenty of other stupid things when it comes to developing and printing.

Dev it anyway, I can load film in my (not very) dark room which has plenty of leaks without it fogging.

OK devd it!

As I expected, mostly a blackness of film except for two images....one of which is fogged but the other looks very promising to use in my film 52 ......won't know for sure til I scan it tomorrow.

It looks like it may have been worth souping it afterall.
