Hi - I hope you can help with something im stuck on. I have typed up some text on a word document, converted it to a Jpeg and imported it into CS4. I now need to change the background colour to black and text to White.....i cant for the life of me work out how to do it!! ive looked in my CS4 book and i dont see any help for this! Would some kind person put me out of my misery? thanks kindly. Jen:thinking:

you cant as its a jpeg image so therefore one flat image but if there isnt alot of text you could get away with bucket fill tool prob alot easier just redo in ps and paste the text from your ms doc

ok, so thats why ive been hitting a brick wall for the last hour! lol. thanks for that chunk. il try it in CS4.

Was about the say the same thing, if it's black text on a white background you just need to invert it. If it's not true black after it's inverted use your levels and select your black point.

hi jen, try using the Image>Adjust>Invert. (Ctrl+I)
should do it

Edit:
Guys - ive just tried this and its worked. One thing i would like to ask you though, when i look at the image closely its almost as if the text is bleeding and a bit pixelated looking. would you know how i can fix this or what causes it? thanks again
