Changing a name on a ticket with BA

Based on previous experience with their customer service dept I'd seriously doubt it

If travelling as part of a group then it is possible but will cost £30.

If the ticket hasn't been bought under a group scheme then I don't think it is possible. Call them - 0844 493 0 787

It was bought as a group but it wasnt bought through BA direct. One of the members of the group cant go so I would need to change the name and upgrade from a child to an adult.

That would suck a whole lot, they should make it possible because if its not there must be a lot of seats that just go to waste.

Just spoken to a friend who works for BA - if payment hasn't been made then its possible but you need to be quick. If payment has been made he says you have no/little chance. Sorry.

Also - seats often dont go to waste, airlines will try to overbook a flight by a certain % on the basis that people dont turn up

ahh thats crap. Im sure they have been paid already.
