Changing 120 mid roll

Is this advisable? I put some slide film in the ikonta and didn't get the shot I wanted. Can I rewind back to the source spool in the chaining bag or will this end in a wasted roll?

It is do-able with care, I just had to take a roll out of the 67 when it jammed after the first frame, I put it back in after the repair, left a blank frame and carried on at frame 3 with no problems at all

As Nick says, with a bit of care it can be done without causing damage to the film.....I've done it several times for a whole host of differing reasons.

Cheers guys. The weather looks to be not so bad tomorrow so I'll probably get up early and finish the roll in the first (last?) of the sun and not risk it. I've got another two rolls to go to the shop any way might as well make it three next week.
