Hi All,

I would appreciate any help with this, please!! I have the Canon powershot G7 camera which has a video capability. I was taking a video for my daughter with the snow this morning but mistakenly I set the video to the type 'Color Accent' and not 'Standard'. As many of you would be aware, this setting makes the video color very dim and nearer to black and white. It is important to note that the memory required to record a video on this setting is exactly the same as that of the standard setting, so the color content must be there but I guess hidden somehow. Is there a way I can convert (or restore) this video to normal colors as if it was taken using the standard settings, either on the camera or using any computer software, preferably cannon's own software?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks all.

I'd guess this is some kind of motion jpeg as opposed to video yes? Still I'd look at video editing software for the cure, I'm certain progs like photoshop would be no use to you.

Steep..Thanks for replying.

Do you have any video editing software in mind you think may do the job? As I have never used these before, would you be able to tell me what should I be looking for in that software?

Cheers,

Steep..Regarding motion jpeg or video, I francly don't know. This is obviously a digital camera (canon powershot G7) and not a dedicated video camera, but it has a video capability. In which format they do it, I don't know. Does it matter?
