i just wanted to say that 400duser has now become visualise the world, so i have not disappeared of the planet i am just here under a new name.

whilst I am not here to comment on your choice of names, shouldn't you of picked one that you can spell!
 
Sorry that was a typo, i like the name better than 400duser (espically if i upgrade!)
 
i did wonder if you upgraded to a 40D if you would sound like a pair of breasts!

If you mean visualise (???) that's the English spelling, the spell checker here prefers the American version with a 'z'

If that's not it - what? :shrug::shrug::shrug:

Feeling thick for not spotting it - gulp :(

lol well;)

i havn't yet but maybe in the future,

my plan is too take at least 100 good photos i am very happy with and when i have noticably improved i will upgrade when i know i will get most out of it.
 
he has chanced to typo - just so that you all think I was referring to the z and s scenario.
 
Matt - it was a retorical question (and yes that probably is spelt wrong) therefore didn't need an answer.
 
Rhetorical or not, it was still a question and therefore required a question mark regardless of whether an answer was expected or required Rob.

Just saying is all, you pointing out spelling mistakes and things. Just thought I'd give you a friendly punch on the shoulder :)

This is the second thread I've noticed you dropping snide remarks and this is the first and only time I'm going to refer to it.

Just try growing up a little yeah? There's bigger things in life to concern yourself with than pointing out bad spelling and grammar to people on a forum based on the net.

If you don't like people who can't spell, stay away from their posts, don't read them. Lets all just be friends and drop the pettiness.
 
to be honest i do not mind, i made a spelling mistake and i should not make them.

on the otehr hand it can get annoying but it reminds me to check my grammar in all aspects of my life

You have to be having a laugh there Mark ^^^ :lol:

On a serious note though, we did all have a discussion about spelling on a thread once before and eventually decided it didn't matter a damn on the TP forum. Yes, it would be nice if all was perfect, but hey

Where it does matter though is in the real world when you promote your services as a professional, so my advice would be to take a wee bit longer on TP to try to get it right here too, so that lazy habits aren't ingrained when you launch as a Pro later :thumbs:

Why did you change your name though - or did I just miss the reason above somewhere?

Matt, I think you are being over sensitive about this whole thread. The comments to ex 400duser were a bit of fun which I believe he took as that. As people who know me on here will tell you I do take the p1$$ and in return I expect people to take the micky out of me.

Due to the way the mods have set this forum up, it is a friendly place where you can have a laugh and a bit of banter with each other, and that is exactly what we do on here. If you ahve only noticed me being snide on one other posting then you need to look a bit harder!

I do think telling me to grow up is a little pathetic - why do I need to grow up? because I took the mick out of someones spelling and then in return you took the mick out of my grammar. Wheres the harm in that. If you think that I am being petty whats the point in telling me to grow up on a posting and then a couple of minutes later pm'ing me to appologise in case I don't like you.

Who I do and don't like on here is something I keep to myself, this is a public forum and as you put it if I don't like things, then I do stay away from their threads.

I think you have gone ott on this one, as I said this was a friendly bit of ribbing between myself and 400Duser and if he has taken offence then he can pm me and we will discuss it like grown up adults, rather than call each other pathetic on a post - that to me is like being back at school!

Oh and i changed my name to correspond with my website address.

and i just think that if i upgrade i can no longer be a 400duser although i am not upgrading until i have 100 shots i would put in a portfolio and that may take some time!!
