I have masked the image in cs4, but can't get a nice finish any ideas ?

presume its the area round the hair thats causing you troubles??

do you have a select by colour tool? That may work..

Also, was there a shadow from the girls cast on the original surface? If so, you'll need to add that onto whatever surface you replace with to make the difference.

Correct its the hair being troublesome. I will try the colour tool and there was a faint shadow from the girls head.

You might want to look at channel masking, it may help you seperate out the hair ect, too long to explain here really.

I'd be thinking channels as well, would be a cinch if she had dark hair.

It may be easier to look at other options, what are you trying to do?
