Haha Tony. I think Graham was suggesting that you had explained the Dataco rules & that it was okay to display a link to the website rather than a photo.

Some really good action shots there Graham.

just pulling his leg :)

Ah I missed that. I guess you realised I was trying to pull yours and Gary's in the 500 thread ;)

Phew.

eh? what have I done ? :)

Absalutely now't fella:D.
You do though, at times, point towards your website for any "Dataco" images used so I am trying to establish if it is ok for me to "point" towards my images used on the agency I work for's website on a public forum?.
I know some of my stuff may be crap but I can only improve if the pics are viewable & as you know that's difficult under the Nazi style control of DATACO!!:D
Kind regards Graham

Well I don't reckon it's crap. There will always be a few images here and there but good action shots as I said before.

I keep seeing a lot of people posting galleries without even watermarks on them.. week aftre week and nobody bothers... i mean fair play if they can get away wiht it.. but big trouble if they get caught.. so i always err on the safe side..

I can post my pics on facebook and twitter.. anyone who owns a licence can post there pics but should have a watermark and should be for a reason other than ohh look at this :) but people working for agencies cant.. thats what dataco told me..

Its a shame its not spelt out nice and clear :(

I am allowed to post my pics on my website.. soemthing i couldnt do 2 seasons ago.. so i dont see anything wrong in pointing links to them... i dont think your doing owt wrong.. but then again i could be mistaken...

i point to mine like your doing.. cant see it being a problem.... IMHO :)

My license from last year says I can post to twitter and social media. It doesn't say on the card about not allowed if it's an agency.

It may of course be in the full Dataco rules which I haven't seen.
