Hi there everybody... It's Ess, CGeezer's other half.

Just to let you know that on Wednesday, John was taken to hospital after having a huge asthma attack. He is in the Critical Care Unit at the moment, showing little/no signs of improvement. He is on a ventilator and fully sedated.

The kids are little diamonds, obviously worried for their daddy but being good as gold and very mature for their age about the whole thing

Thanks for all your kind wishes, just a speedy update, he has made -slight- improvement today, but he's still not out of the woods yet. That said, it's a step in the right direction. Like a few of you said we're thinking positively, and for the rest of the time, head is firmly placed in the sand!

Hope he improves to a level where you can relax a bit about him quickly now that he has started to pick up.
 
Wishing you a speedy recovery, I know how it feels to be in this situation having spent many a week in hospital with our eldest son when he was little and suffered with chronic asthma.
