CF CARDS

Will be purchasing a 7D later on today,

Any advise on what card to buy?
As of the 8fps i'm not sure whats best suited :bonk:

Currently looking at

Sandisk 16GB Extreme (60mb/s)

That sandisk is perfect. I got 100G of the stuff.

Thats fine, 7D writes to card at around 55MB/s

That Sandisk CF card is perfect :} 60MB/s is more than enough for continuous shooting.

I jusr bought that exact card for the same camera, 7D - new camera so I did some asking around and this was the one most people thumbed up!

still waiting for my mine to come through the post. The 7D is an amazing camera, been playing with the stills element so far. Not even touched HD yet which was the main reason why i purchased it...

I will only ever use Sandisk cards, not that I have ever had a problem with any other make, but as I tend to use quite large cards, they are holding a lot of images that I would not want to lose.
