I bought a LEXAR 2GB, Plat II 80X at Wallmart, USA July 07, $17:99.
What should I go for to upgrade for my 5D? :shrug:

Not sure what you are asking there m8, is there something wrong with the card?
 
Another vote for the SanDisk Extreme III cards - not so much an upgrade as more memory - you can never have too much!
 
Me too. I have three 4Gb ones for my 5D and they have been faultless.
 
If you have photo storage then 2 cards is enough if you dont then it always great to have about 3

And ofcouse +1 for Sandisk III
 
Forgot to say that with a SanDisk Extreme III card (as a bonus) you get the RescuePro software for file recovery should you delete (or even format) your card contents before making sure they're safe! Just DON'T USE THE CARD before trying to recover the files!
 
The Extreme IV is the latest from SanDisk (forgetting the Ducati Edition).

If you're don't need the speed they work at, then go for the cheaper Extreme III.
 
i by after market cards half the price i got my self 2 4gig 300x speed £63.00
