I realise this is the longest of long shots, buy I've just bought my first film camera and I'm away for the weekend.

But due to taking my daughter to an emergency dentist trip I have no film to try it out with :(
I was really hoping there would be some here... And there isn't

Don't suppose anyone is here who would be kind enough to sell me a roll of 35mm?

If you go in most supermarkets you can find 'consumer' film of some description, usually Kodak Gold/Ultra or Fuji Superia, their just general all purpose films that will give a good result most of the time. Or if there is a Poundland nearby their selling Agfa Vista (which is rebranded Fuji Colour 200) for (obviously) a pound at the moment.

Thanks I hoped there would be some at the super market on site, there don't sell it, one of the gift shops used to but apparently not Amy more :(

I was just hoping (it's a very long shot I know) that there is a film shooter on holiday here who would be kind enough to sell me a spare roll of 35mm

Lol I know, order some in post that didn't come so was going to get some this morning, that didn't happen.

Wife pulled a right face when I suggested going out to hunt for film tonmorow.

Ahh well guess my little oly rc will have to wait :(

Most Morrisons usually have a small selection of film if there is one nearby. The one I used to shop at in my first year at university was fairly small compared to most but it still had a small little rack of film near the checkouts.
