Whilst out last week, using my Holga Pinhole Panoramic camera, I took a number of shots, which were, by-and-large ruined by the amount of light fall-off to the edge of the frame. I either got a properly exposed middle of the shot and the last 2cm either end of the neg was darker than a dark thing at midnight, or, the edges were exposed reasonably well, but the centre was bleached out. I managed to rescue a couple with some photoshop trickery (levels and a center spot radial mask) but I would far prefer to get it right in camera.

Now I know that there are centre spot ND filters that are made for the Hassy XPAN, but they're 10 times the cost of the Holga... surely someone makes a cheaper version??? Or am I down to a old UV filter and some translucent paint??

It's no good if it's a pinhole TBY, you is stuffed. It shouldn't be as dramaic as you are saying though, on my 5x4 the circle goes quite a bit further out.

Do you know what the focal length is, and diameter of the hole? You can work out the coverage if you do

The only option for no fall off is a curved plane panoramic pinhole.

This was AFTER tweaking... and the best of a bad bunch

Suppose I'd better just stick to the 6x9 mask then. :(

Hotspot isn't even in the middle - classic Holga Quality Control again

I'd be tempted to try and hack it if that is the result and try and add a manual lens to get a 612 camera out of it
