Today, I tried to open the file in CorelDraw X7, but there was a window with an error: "Error Reading CorelDraw file."

How to get rid of this error and to open the file?

You may not be able to get rid of the error and open the file. Because that message may imply the file had got damaged, corrupted, broken, hence your CorelDRAW is not able to open and load the file.

You could hope to repair the file somehow, the above poster have a good suggestion, and there may be other suggestions. Try Google "repair .cdr file"

But sorry to have to tell you this: You better hope you have a backed up copy of the file somewhere on your HDD or any other drives you use.

Inkscape can open cdr files. I don't know if it can help with a damaged file, but it is free and worth a punt.
