Hi Guys

Does anyone have any experience with cd printers.

I want to invest in a printer which will allow me to print directly onto the cd. I have seen some canon makes out there but i just wanted to know if anyone has used one and whether they have had an issues etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hi there

I have an Epson PX720WD which has a built in CD tray. It gets used for everything in my house (general printing, photos, CDs) as well as my wife for card-making. It cost less than £100 in PC World at the end of last year and I use compatible ink carts in it to keep the cost down. As the name suggests, its wireless capable and has a built in duplexer. The print quality onto printable CDs and DVDs is excellent.

I'd recommend it if you can still find one.

Canon Pixma iP4500 and 4850 used regularly by me for wedding discs. Simple to use the supplied software, no issues and cost effective unless you need a whole load with exactly the same printed on them.

I've a Canon iP printer, prints onto (printable) CD's / DVDs well. You put them into a carrier in the front of the machine and prints out great without much problem.
