i sit here, bored outta my tree at work and i get into a debate with a female work collegue about chocolate, which is best: dairy milk or galaxy?

she is gunning for galaxy and i for dairy milk. i thought id throw it open to the forum.

Which do you prefer: galaxy or dairy milk?

EDIT: not wanting to be chocolatist so ill add: bournville and white chocolate, into the debate.

Galaxy. No other words needed. :)

galaxy

Diary Milk. Apart from anything else, the modern shape of Galaxy pieces doesn't fit comfortably in the roof of the mouth. Galaxy's also too sweet (even for me). Galaxy's alright when wrapped in a crisp outer shell (Minstrels) but as a bar, CDM wins hands down in my book.

try reading the question again :)
I have read the question once more and I maintain that I am still the only person to get the correct answer.
i bet you werent very good at exams :)
If only I could have talked about the merits of dark chocolate in my exams, I would have got a lot better grades.

Dairy Milky of course.

I like Galaxy but it has that mars-bars taste thing about it whereas Dairy Milk has a more solid chocolately flavour. :p

But I buy the Galaxy Flake bar over the original Cadbury's flake though!

Galaxy.

I've probably put on a couple of pounds in weight just reading this thread. :shake:

Galaxy and Bournville for me however.

Bournville.

As much as I adore our Galaxy (Mal ;)) as far as chocolate is conserned it has to be Cadbury's in first place, followed by Lindt, then Thorntons. Galaxy chocolate is naff :p.

Oh and I am also rather fond of Tesco's value chocolate at 25p per largish bar .

Yes Joe, a poll pole would be useful to skewer you onto, ready to dip in the Cadbury's chocolate fountain :D

No, but the Cadbury's will do an excellent job of masking any unsavory taste :D :p

Valrhona.

Real chocolate, none of this milk solids and extra sugar.

Galaxy is creamier and smoother than Dairy Milk.
my ex works at Thorntons and she said their chocolate is half Belgian, half dairy milk, it takes some beating that does :1st:

Hmm, does Caramac qualify as choklit?
Either that or WHITE Lindor FTW!

Green and blacks, Lindt or Valrhona.

Dark every time. Soooooo much better for you and so much more flavour.

Its weird how you get people going "ooooh, I'm so addicted to chocolate, its got chemicals in it that make you feel like your in love" etc etc. If only they realised what they were really addicted to is fat and sugar.

Its enough to make you weep, it really is.

Walkers Salt and Vinegar.

It's chocolate. It's all good in whatever form.

Lindt Chilli Dark chocolate is pretty special though.

If you ever taste proper chocolate you'll never go back to that cadburys carp, Lidl do a nice 60% cocoa one called Amazonas or summat.
