Hi all.
Broke my watch today, so went to Argos to get another, and went for the Casio moon and tide data watch (could be useful for photography ;) )

But, nice watch, but wtf?
The manual, as always is about as much use as a pair of tits on a fish!

Has anybody got of these watches?
Does it work properly?
Is there an easier way to understand how to set the thing up?

it's also a compass
hold the end of the strap
whizz it round your head a few times and let go
it'll go west!

Never had a problem with Casio watches apart from straps breaking. Manuals can be hard to understand but generally tell you how to set the watches up properly.

Needed a new watch recently (strap broken on the old one and can't find a replacement one anywhere) and found Argos to be the cheapest place to get what I wanted.

Those tide prdictor watches are all very well but only good for the place they're set up for - move a few miles down the coast and you need to know the time difference. Of course, the same goes for tide tables but they usually come with a list of the time differences for the closer places.
