Hi

Since my last post I have followed advice on here and now have -

- Canon 7D
- Canon 15-85 lens
- Canon 10-22 lens

As I have been away from the market for a while I was wondering what "bags" or cases are out there that you guys recommend ? I don't want to carry anymore than the above so not a back-pack.

Easy access for those quick shots, as light as possible, can hang on belt or shoulder, suitable for towns and Fell walking. Don't want it flopping around either and I have 40in waist :D so not one that sits out the front !

Brands and suggestions welcome. Thanks

John

I've just bought the Tamrac Velocity 9x. Can only say its a great bag. For your equipment you could drop down to the 6x or 7x. But I believe you will only add more gear so get the next size up.
Only paid £37.99 inc delivery for mine damn good deal.

I've got the national geographic messenger bag large.
Its been to India, Italy, Maldives and everywhere else i go in the UK without a problem will take two bodies four lenses. Or one body two lenses two flashes whatever really! Laptop pocket, tons of other pockets, got a roll back zip lid for the main compartment, dust water and impact resistant and in my eyes looks great.

+1, I wrote A review on it here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=384778

I actually really like backpacks. I find them very versatile and a lot easier to carry. Often you've not just got camera kit, but a packed lunch, drinks, additional clothing (i.e. hats and gloves), suncream etc

I've got a Tamrac expedition 7x, which my lad uses, I use a Lowepro Computrekker AW and I've a smaller lowepro trekker Aw which feels tiny and light but still packs a decent amount.

Thanks all, some good links there.

Think it will be the Tamrac Velocity 6 if I can get camera and a spare lens in, nothing else. Or 7 if a bigger on is needed. Looks light and well designed.

For the sack I've had a good look at the Lowepro site and the Photo Sport 200 AW seems good, as it allows me to pack all my waterproof gear and non-camera stuff and good level of weather protection (British weather).
