Daily Carol's 365 from 12th December 2012 - A Year of Happiness

Thanks and will hope weather stays nice enough for you .... will maybe even try and get out friday as well though not sure where yet. Sunday I am hoping to get over to my friends again so will definitely get those flowers again - and possibly even better this time :) Roll on spring and summer as I will never be in on my days off :D
 
Thanks Vince :) Just a bit of editing to boost the colour a bit but otherwise didnt need to crop it or anything :) and they tasted lovely even if I do say so myself - well the 2 I had - the rest were 'snatched' away while my back was turned lol

1 x 32GB card arrived this afternoon (while I was out ) ..... think I can fill that one quite nicely :)
 
You had sticky bottom and a memory issue...these as a doctor would concern me... Have you tried cream and bed rest..anyhow.. A tad cruel of you Carol... Photographing your ex with its replacement...(no means to male you feel guilty) ;)

I know ....its the cruellest thing I could have done :( but........ it had to be done :D ..... don't bring the past to your future, move on, etc etc etc
He is sat in a box next to my computer awaiting his fate in 9 days :thinking:

Well today - regardless of the rain and cold - has been a wonderful day. Myself and Elvy (1100D) went out for a walk to get acquainted and boy oh boy she didnt let me down :)
It was raining a lot when I set off but I was determined I was going to get a decent photo for my POTD so headed off for the the 30 minute walk to the Devonshire Rock Gardens in Blackpool. Prayed all the way there that the rain would ease off enough for me to try the camera out and they must have decided I deserved it as the rain stopped when I got there and while I walked around. Once I decided to leave it started again so was totally soaked by the time I got home but I didnt really care. I got about 50 photos altogether and had to sit and try to decide which one to use today :thinking:
So eventually I decided on this one.... I know it isnt the best regarding the background but I have looked all over for something like this and today I found loads. The colours are just lovely so no editing at all on this one - what you see is what I got :D
 
A good image Carol,...but, I would have cropped out the green bit/branch/trunk? on the right....as it doesn't add to the image.
 
oh b****r!!! :bonk: was that excited at the quality of the images that I didnt even look at that bit - will do it and repost :) Thanks for that Lee :)
 
Lol!.... I do it all the time!.... now, I always preview my images before I hit the reply button...

I've been reading it but because i'm not doing a 365 at the moment i didn't want to butt in lol, it's a fun read :D:D

Really...ok scratch scarlett off the photoshop list... I have my eye candy assistant distraction ... As I lay the jaffa cakes at the foot of Matt's thread..
 
Another close up that came out better than I thought it would ... had to crop it a bit though as the branches at the side were blurred and it distracted from the cones
