Hello all
I joined yesterday and have found this to a very addictive site already, was looking on my android phone last night and discovered the app so no doubt I'll be on that every free moment I get when not at a PC.
Posted my first couple of pictures yesterday in the critique section (Bolton by night) and got a warm welcome and some constuctive feedback, the claim that "We're the friendliest forum on the internet, so we promise to make you feel very welcome." has certainly been proved to be true so thanks.
I use a Canon EOS 450D body with 18-55mm or 80-200mm lens. I have a 'mobile studio' which consists of the Lastolite HiLite and three speedlites on remote triggers (no softboxes which I definately need to purchase soon). I do PP in Photoshop CS5.
I photograph anything and everything that takes my fancy. I work full time but am trying to build a bit of a photography business taking portraits (high and low key) and photographing weddings so any tips on advertising on a budget, building the business etc would be greatly appreciated.
Well, that's me, bit of a long winded introduction I know but thought I'd jump into this with both feet.
Hope to speak to some of you soon
Carl
