Hey all i am looking to get a card reader for my pc so i can just plug the card from my 400d straight into my laptop. But a quick search shows there are 100s of them to choose from. Does anyone have any recomendations?
 
Just a thought. Check that you computer doesn't have one already. My Dell has a card rearder for almost every card stuck in the front panel.
 
Jessops do a Universal Card Reader too which is good, not sure how much though

So does my brand new laptop.............except CF cards!!! :D
 
It has one for SD cards and the sony mmc card but not cf cards.

The sandisk reader mho recommended is great, I got one and it takes up very little space

If you've and "Express Card" slot on your computer, you might want to consider a CF adapter for this.It's much faster than a USB unit

I just bought a couple of dirt cheap card readers from 7 Day Shop - they seem nice and quick, even on my lappy which doesn't have USB2, and cost under £4 each! :eek:
