Card for 40d

I have purchased a 40d and will be collecting next week, can you advise which type of card would be suited to this body.

Sandisk Extreme III 8gb

Extreme III, probably a 4GB would be enough, as RAW files are only 10MB each.

IMO Extreme IVs are too fast for the 40D, the only benefit would be a quicker download time from the card reader to your PC/laptop.

i have a 4gb sandisk extreme III and a kingston 4gb card and both seem to work well

I use 2 x 4gb sandisk extreme 3 cards and they are great. Buy them from amazon as they're about half the price of Jessops etc.
