Caravan Gallery exhibition - Preston

I had to go into Preston today and took the opportunity to pop in to the Museum of Lancashire to see the extra{ordinary} – Photographs of Britain by The Caravan Gallery exhibition. I bought the book when it came out and have been looking forward to seeing the pictures as a show. I really enjoyed it. Maybe not to everyone's taste but it's a great documentary take on Great Britain. But I am probably biased as photos of British life and culture are what interest me most these days.

Free entry, but shut Mondays. I'll be back for a longer look when I have more time.

I have their book Is Britain Great? - some really well observed images, including one obscure local one I recognised immediately.

Is this a set of local images on display, or another national project?
