Hi all

I'm after a device to attach a Canon DSLR and wide angle lens to a vehicle roof (it won't be moving, other than a bit of rocking) Can anyone suggest a UK supplier of such a device? It needs to be fairly solid to hold the camera in a fixed position for possibly up to eight hours! Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated :)

Try a search for Fat Gecko (By Delkin). Available in the UK from places like warehouse express. May be suitable for your needs.

how handy are you, me and a fair few other people have made our own rigs with a few glass handles and some bolts witha pole
 
loads available on ebay, or look at warehouse express or the likes for the manfrotto suction pads if you are not willing to leave your camera at the mercy of an ebay item :)

Do a search for glass suction pads, can damage the car...
