so my brother has almost finished his car. after spending roughly around 10,000 on his honda civic (idiot). most of money was spent on the engine. but also just over a 1000 pound to get some rust fixed and painted milano red.
for the years i have been haggling him to give me lift places as i dont drive. he asked if i could take some photos of his car for a honda tech forum he uses and just to show people. also 2 of his friends which i am reasonably freinds with have bought new cars who want some photos done aswell.
so what im looking for is some ideas. the photos will probably be taken at night. or an underground car park has cought my eye. just wondering if anyone has some standard ideas i could use. angles, lighting, positioning of car etc.
this is the colour of the car. i presume the car will be even shinier as the paint has not been polished or thoroughly washed since it was painted.
this was a photo i took of another civic of my other brother. the reason the lighting is a bit funny is that the back arch of the car is a different shade of white from the rest of the car.
whats annoying me is i dont have any particular ideas in mind or desired effects. apart from one. as my brother has done minimal of research on photography he said he likes some hdr photos of cars he has seen.
but any help would be appreciated.
