Car Locations in Reading

Hi Guys,

myself and Outlore have been looking around Reading for some interesting places to take a few shots of our cars.

We have found a few quiet car parks that we would like to use but ideally we want something quite urban. Big warehouses with massive rolling shutters or walls covered in graffiti etc however these seem to be fairly difficult to find.

We are willing to travel outside of Reading but would prefer to stay in the area.

The industrial estates off of Portman Road might give you what you want, Loverock Road, Stadium Way, etc, lots of industrial buildings old and new, with the railway backing them up and a railway tunnel that you can drive under (that goes through to Scours Lane and the conference centre). Gritty, in other words its a dump, but there is a better chance of finding the graffiti type scenes you're after. Just be very careful at night, it's really not a nice part of town.

Try Bracknell collumseum car park, nice and gritty, just like Paul's suggestions go in a pair, it's not nice day or night.......

Or round back of market street bracknell, lots of old units

Basically under urban decay in the phonebook it just shows a picture of bracknell......!!

Thanks Paul, we have looked around the back of Portman Road however a lot of the places round there are pretty well fenced off. There are a couple of tunnels around the back of their that could be interesting but a little concerned about parking in the middle of a tunnel.

Bracknell looks quite interesting so might give that a go.
