Hi

Am wanting to experiment with shots from inside a moving car at night. Therefore I need a way to secure the camera in the back seat in the middle. I'm wanting to take a shot from the middle of the car behind the front seats on a long exposure.

Any suggestions as to how to secure a camera in this position?

Cheers

I tried this once and found it real hard to to what your asking, so i would also be interested to see if anyone has any ideas how to do this. I did do some with the tripod jammed against the roof of the car but it was a bit awkward.
BTW make sure your windows are super clean inside and out!! :)

I've done this, fixed the tripod where i wanted it then ratchet strapped it down to the seat mounting points ;o)

You wont get a very long exposure though if your planning on driving, road conditions make sure of that, i might have another go using the same theory as a rig and just roll the car.

As already said as well, super clean windows ;o)

I tried this (during the day) used a tripod strapped down using the seat belts but it wasn't ridged enough. Think this would only work on a super smooth road...not many of them where I live.

The other problem I had was getting a lot of reflections of the dashboard on the inside of the front window, not sure if this would be as much of an issue at night?
