Just goes to show that shopping around pays off. Got my renewal quote from Norwich Union which was for £497.86, so had a quick search on insuresupermarket and confused.com. Got alot cheaper quote from Barclays, phoned to cancel my existing policy from Norwich Union, and Norwich Union have now insured me for £378.99 Apparently they underwrite for Barclays too

Now I'm a happy girl...

car insurance is a pita. mine is around £400, it was £400 with my old mondeo that was worth far less!

But I only have 1 years no claims after having a company car for the last 6 years, and as I made a claim in the last few months of having it (when I couldn't quite squeeze into a parking spot and the post won), I presume I'd have to start from scratch again. I couldn't be bothered with all the hassle of contacting my old employers and getting them to forward stuff to me.
