God.. I feel absolutely bloody murderous!!

The daughter in law was followed home by three black pieces of **** in a blue Astra earlier this eveing. When she got onto her drive at home they drove up and blocked her in, then dragged her out of the car ,a Civic Type-R, and demanded the keys. She refused, bless her, and was smacked round the face with a gun for her trouble and had her arm slammed in the car door. Real ****in heroes - she's all of 5'2".

They drove off in the car which had the house keys and the keys to their other vehicle on the bunch. As they were driving off she had the balls to lift the tailgate and grab her handbag out of the back with her cash and credit cards in.

The cops were called and an armed response team chased the CTR for a while but lost it - I don't know the full circumstances of that as yet, but according to the cops, the Astra was stolen anyway.

The daughter in law is at hospital with a badly bruised face and suspected broken arm. We're hoping she'll be discharged later tonight, but I'm so incredibly bloody proud of her!

What I wouldn't ****ing give for just 5 minutes...

****ing Hell Cedric, my thoughts are with you and your family.

I hope someone gets the b******s for this!

****in *******s! Hope they die. People like that shouldnt be aloud to live! Hope she gets better soon and her car back.

**** me :( Absolute scum. All for a bloody bit of metal on wheels.

Im lost for words mate, except I hope she gets better soon (physically and mentally), and although it's probably not a positive now, but she's alive and now safe. A car can be replaced, she cannot....and there are some out there who wouldn't think twice about murder.

:agree:

Hope she gets better soon as well......

Bloody hell mate that is horrible!!

Hopefully they willl run into someone bigger and nastier than them and get what they deserve - no doubt in the circles they move in it will happen sooner rather than later.

Good job by the police as usual ...

scum bags sorry to hear

cops always loose them when chasing them

we had a incident outside the nightclub i worked a guy walked by lifted up his shirt and said you lot are next

armed response chased them and lost them

Jeez.... ! Scum is a compliment to those worthless pieces of **** :annoyed: They should be destroyed and very inhumanely at that .. *******s ... Anyway glad she is still alive! .. Could have been much worse though!

Thanks for the sentiments folks. She's back home - had all the X rays- there's nothing broken but she's really badly bruised up, and I expect a bit of shock is going to set in now it's all over.

It was just a divisional patrol apparantly who came across the Civic and gave chase but they were ordered to follow at a distance because of the firearm situation, which is pretty routine procedure anyway. They lost it while they were waiting for an armed response vehicle to take over the chase.

To be fair to the cops, you often have to drop back from these chases anyway, as these ***** have no regard for the life and limb of the public, so it's a difficult situation and you just make it worse by putting them under continued pressure. C.I.D. are picking it all up tomorrow, so I'm hoping they get a result - these are dangerous pieces of pond life!

Thats just bloody awful, I hope she makes a quick recovery and they catch the evil sods.

They give scum a bad name!!! :(

Complete & utter spineless BAS***ds!
The main thing is that she recovers fully, both physically & mentally! Bless her bravery, I would pay dearly to be locked in a room with scum like these, they would never rob another thing thats for sure.

What part of the west mids was it in? pm me if you want, I am in Cannock so would be interested if you dont mind.

Hope they crash the car into something with no feeling & suffer badly!!! Thieving lowlife wan***s!

sorry to hear that....
Good that She is ok!

It may take a while for her to get back to normal mental state...I know how it is....

I was attacked myself a while back on me way home...most likely I was followed from underground, got hit in the back of my head and got my conscious back few hours later in hospital...how i got there? do not know...was awake in hospital but completly not aware whats going on...and everything for a PSP....

Once again, good she is in one piece :)

Sorry to hear that Bastic and for a PSP FFS!!

Well what I'm very wrongly calling a car jacking is actually armed robbery with violence and carries a max of 14 years imprisonment, but if they get get 'em will they get anywhere near that? Will they Hell!

War on crime - my arse!

No they won't! What they will get is a free handout of our money that goes to some lawyers to make excuses for their actions :cuckoo: ..... They win, lawyers et al win and your daughter loses ........ Pretty normal for today's judicial system and "war on crime" :shake:

All too common now :(

It was this kind of experience that made me sell my beloved Civic ctr, I was followed home over a distance of 14 miles, through red lights and massive detours by 3 lads in an escort, I gave the police the reg and all they said was to leave the keys by the door as they were probably after the car.

Glad she's ok though CT, they could have quite easily killed her :(

Words fail me....
I'm sorry to hear this CT, I hope she recovers soon, she's certainly a very brave lady.
Fingers crossed they are caught by an armed response unit, pull out their gun and the police take out all three of the waste of space scumbag *****.

worst of it is ...they'll get something like 150 hrs community service .

Really sorry to hear about this. So glad that they weren't trigger happy ******s. I hope they get whats coming to them and I don't mean the so called legal punishment.
Wish her a speedy recovery and don't let the barstewards grind you down.

Kev.

Sorry to here your daughter in law has had this horrific experience, glad she is reasonably ok physically
.
Speaking from experience I hope they don't find the car, having had one stolen the past it's not the same if you do get it back, it's better to get the insurance to pay out then to have to sell it on. and I would imagine after having had this happen she really won't feel safe in it again.

Jeesus CT
I.m glad your daughter in law is ok ish now and nothing too serious was damaged. It could have been a lot worse. These scum should be strung up by their balls and beaten. I hope they crash and burn.

On a lighter note. A few years back some "nice boy who loved his mum" nicked my dads car from the garage. He was chased by the police and ............. oops, crashed the car.... one dead theiving peice of ****. Always have a smile on my face when i go round that bend in the road.

Unfortunately it seems these days that the police given serious crimes just arn't up to the job. My son went camping with some friends in a farmers field some time ago. Thugs went and attacked them giving one of my sons friends a broken cheek bone which required a metal plate. The police were called and it took over 24 hours, yes 24 hours, before they responded. They said they didn't consider the attack to be serious and they were called several times. This was in the Brownhill Police area in the West Midlands. This is only one of several incidents I know of where the local police do nothing.

A horrible experience. These cowards wouldn't have picked on a burly builder's car, no matter what model.
Good on her for making a stand and I hope they catch, convict and send them to rot in the slammer for a good few years.

I hate reading threads like this. If these scumbags are caught, the justice system will prove yet again to be inadequate and they'll probably get community service. I'd rather hear that you find them, and pick them off one at a time, and knock the leaving daylights out of them! I guess at this moment in time, the main focus for you and the family, is to make sure your daughter in law makes a speedy recovery. My thoughts are with you.

Wowza!! Glad she's not too seriously hurt.
Is sounds like you've got one pretty ballsey daughter in law there!

Fingers crossed the police catch the scum and actually have enough evidence for something to be done about it.
I'd heard tales of this sort of thing before, but usually for much more expensive machinary than a Civic.
I guess this is one of the downsides of car security being so good these days, the scrotes only option is to relieve the owner of the keys, by any means neccesary it would appear!!
Oh, and for all the folks bashing the police: I realise they're not perfect, but the CPS are far more to blame when it come to not getting these scumbags put away for any serious length of time.

Hope she recovers quickly, both physically and mentally.

You know what, IF they get caught I doubt they will serve more than 3 years inside. You must be very proud of her though.

Maybe if you had said to the police that you had seen someone taking pics with a DSLR in a park they would have turned up sooner

I do hope your daughter is ok, she is one very brave lass every credit to her, I hope you and your family the best to get over this dreadful assault.

they wont be punished the justice system is the pits today, a 17 year old I have fostered for many years is in court again today, he will again get away with his latest crime of asaulting a police officer, thank goodness we have now come to our senses give up on him, I never thought I would ever ever give up on a child.

I hope one day he will realise the scum he is mixing with are just wrong and decent human beings will once more be able to live the lives we all deserve.
take care
cas

Give me a shout - I'll bring the pick axe handles. ;)

Why only take the handles, tbh? They deserve the whole thing. :)

Maybe if you had said to the police that you had seen someone taking pics with a DSLR in a park they would have turned up sooner

They have no complaints about the police response as it happens - units were at the house in double quick time. It was pure luck that an unarmed patrol saw the Civic miles away and chased it for a while until they were told to maintain the follow at a distance. You can't reasonably expect unarmed cops to effectively attempt suicide by tackling known armed offenders.

Staffs County is a massive police area - one of the largest. I don't know how many armed response units they have out at any one time, but I bet it's no more than 1 or 2 at most, so there could be considerable distances involved in getting to the scene, so it's just bad luck that they lost them before the back up could get there, and there aren't many cars that would live with a Civic Type R round country lanes anyway.

She's as stiff as a board this morning, limping round the place, but she's OK and they're seeing the CID later today, so the cops are taking it seriously and we're hopeful that a result will come of it.

Bravo to your daughter and my condolences that it happened in the first place...

This is one area where the lack of rule of law in some of the places I work in has it's advantages...
The village menfolk tool-up and deal with stuff like this themselves...
Dead robbers make good fertiliser...

In Ye olden Days, we'd have done the same thing, with an appointed sheriff or constable leading the pursuit.
Now that we have outsourced the policing of our community entirely to paid professionals do we feel safer?
Yes...
Are we actually any safer...?
No...

Time to dig out the pitchforks and machetes and do some old style discouragement...

Heads on pikes at the town-gates sends a fairly unequivocal message to would-be wrong-doers methinks...

Sadly mate, it's the judicial system, or rather the way the sentences are being constantly watered down which is killing this country as far as law and order is concerned.

I once chased two scrotes on a stolen motor bike through busy shopping steets, junping lights, shooting across pavements riding like complete maniacs. After a couple of miles they lost it on a bend on a canal bridge and piled straght into a trolley bus pole. They were both killed outright. The post never moved!

As I parked up and was walking towards the caranage, an old dear said " Oh my God - are they dead?"

I said "I sincerely hope so"

Unfortunately about half a dozen other people heard me, and it ended up with the Chief Constable relieving me of 7 days pay. :D
