Hi to all the car gurus!

My wife's 206 is playing up, to be more specific her rear lights on the passenger side are a bit flaky.

The lights don't operate as they should so I intend to replace the light bulb holder with one of these: Link

I also intend to fit all new bulbs as well with the following: break bulbs / indicator bulbs

She also has a broken rear seat belt clasp/catch which I intend to replace with this: Link (how hard/easy would this be to do?)

Can I ask all you gurus if you could take a look at the parts I have selected and let me know if I have chosen the right parts

Many thanks in advance.

Take care,

Keith

Have you checked the rear light to be sure it's made by Marelli? Manufacturers often buy parts from different suppliers, literally seemingly at random, and different brands of parts might not be interchangeable.

There might also be further corrosion in the wiring harness that leads to the rear light as well.

I would check the earth, sand the bodywork if needed. It will be down to corrosion somewhere and if all lights are affected, it is the earth

It seems to be just one light connection, there is corrosion present on the bulb as well as the bulb holder

The bulb in question also has problems fitting/staying in the holder

The part I linked to looks exactly the same as the one I have fitted, the only difference is the colour, mine is a red plastic

Nearly forgot....

Many thanks for your help guys, it is very much appreciated

As well as having some corrosion the light bulb holder was also defective.

Have fitted the new light bulb holder & a set of new bulbs as well and all is good once more.

Just the rear seat belt to fix now
