anyone joined one?

i tried to join streetcar.co.uk today

i gave them my address, phone number, then we did a conference call with DVLA to confirm my license was UK, clean and that i'd had it since 1989.
then the guys says 'sorry, you've been declined membership'

errr???
on that minimal data i got declined to rent a VW golf!

Maybe a post code thing? I got declined a hire car from a minor company because at the time where I lived shared the first part of it's post code with a notorious council scheme.

Yea I'm a member of ZSOC - Zetec S Owners Club (fiesta in particular). However, I'm just registered as an "Enthusiast" as I don't own one the 'S' model.

Have just had a look, and apparently the closest car to me is in Cambridge...handy!

Nope car sharing for me is a bit point less being on emergancy fault i never know where my work site will could be 150mile drive, and i dont think the company would like me taking passengers within there van lol.
