I can't seem to take an image into PS from C1 without closing and losing all my edit history??
Is this possible?
Like I just want to use a few PS tools to remove some body parts and then back into C1 for finer editing but I don't want to loose my C1 edit history...??
Any advice is welcome.
Thanks.

You cannot edit a RAW file in Photoshop, so you cannot keep your C1 edit history when round tripping to Photoshop.

The way to work with PS, is...

Right-click in C1 on the image and choose "edit with"

Then choose Photoshop and select options., I use PSD, but you can use TIF.

C1 will create a PSD with the C1 edits "baked into it", and then open the PSD in Photoshop where you can do your Photoshop edits. When you close PS, it will save any changes to the PSD, and send you back to C1 for further edits to the PSD.

You can no longer change your original C1 edits, because they were baked into the PSD, but you can use C1 to refine the PSD.

These C1 edits are on top of the PS edits, and, if you need to, you can go back into PS to re-edit the PS file. To do this, you right-click on the PSD (in C1) and choose "Open with" NOT "Edit with". Do any tweaks you need to make in PS, and save the PSD or just close PS, which will prompt you to save.

This time your C1 edits remain intact, as they sit on top of the PSD, so you can carry on in C1 from where you left off.

Thanks, will try to put this into practice.
