Hello Everyone

Curious to know how many of you use this and your opinions. I am quite impressed with it but it is rather intimidating at first...

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I got my license free with some recovery software years ago and thought it was really good. Unfortunately it was a paid upgrade to the latest versions and I never took the plunge opting for LR instead.

With all the good stuff in lightroom, still think the capture one RAW conversion was 'better' but the software version I had was a bit limited on tools and adjustments (which I see are mostly included now).

Used it for about 9 years, takes a bit of getting used to, results are stunning!!
Workflow is very quick.

There is a good forum on the phaseone website if you are struggling.

Will see if I can get my head around it, I am using a trial 6 Pro and it looks way cool...intimidating as hell but cool.

The way I edit nothing is quick :bonk:but I hear what you say. Thanks for letting me know about the website, saw some tutorial videos but not quite what I wanted / needed.

I use CO6 Pro and also own LR3, I tend to favour CO6 as I find CO6 far better for getting detail out of a raw file, also when doing selective pixel editing on layers it does not seem do as much pixel damage as LR when pushed to the limit. :)

When using CO6, what do use for cataloging? I'm currently using lightroom.

Interested by the speed of CO6, i'm finding LR4 to be annoyingly slow atm...
