There used to be an option in earlier versions of capture that I could select the particular adjustment attributes that I wanted to copy and then apply.

Where has this gone in Capture 11.1?

It is all at the same places, Paul, just make sure you evoke the
same workspace you had in the previous version you used.

When upgrading, the workspaces are always kept.

… btw, what is your OS?

These are new installations.

1x windows 7
1x windows 10

Can you give me some idiot proof pointers please, because I've spent a lot of time looking for the options and just cannot find them. As well as googling, which isn;t turning up helpful results either.

Thank you Kodiak, that's what I needed, but it doesn't seem to totally work.

Just as an experiment I clicked on an image and then looked at the adjustments clipboard, various items are checked. Contrast wasn't, so I made a change to the contrast on that image, contrast then had a checkbox next to it.

I unchecked contrast, click on copy and contrast just auto checks itself and the property is copied.

I want to be able to control the elements I want to copy.

I will tweak an image to what I think it should be and copy the
said tweaks to others that share the same shooting conditions.

Say twelve pictures are candidates in terms of everything but
the crop, I will copy all the tweaks, check out the crop box and
apply to all. Tweaks will be applied but none will be cropped.

You are "re-copying" the adjustments, but that isn't how this works, you select what is pasted not what is copied. Everything is copied.

1. Choose the image you want to copy from

2. Press copy

3. deselect the things you don't want to paste

4. Press apply

Thanks Guys,

This is definitely a change to how it used to work and in some ways its complex and counter inituative now.

But maybe its more powerful? But takes some getting used to.

Essentially you have separate copy and paste options, in that it has one set of options for copy so you can copy all from a setting, but then choose to paste only certain attributes to certain images. You have to select the options twice.

Thanks again. Appreciated.
