Who would like to see some sort of caption competition?

I think we could have a bit of a laugh. One person would post a photo, and everyone else would provide a caption for it.

We could run it, say, weekly? Have it as a weekly thing with the original poster choosing their favourite from the thread over the week, and passing the baton to him to post a photo, and the process starts all over again?

Could be some fun I think.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? How do you think it should be done?
 
yes, good idea, I think you should start by choosing your favourite from your neon journey.......I mean blue escalator photo :)

'what you got in yer hand then....er have you?'

'you hum it and I'll play it'

'hit me with your rhythm stick'....

I think its bedtime...lol...that's my thought not a caption! :lol: night all!

You could use this one I took of 2 strangers waiting at Glasgow station. I've thought of one or two of my own..:naughty:

Yeah good idea.
How about an "joke insanity" area under the "genera" forum then there wont be a single thread that gets trampled all over?
 
Or we could have a humour forum thats split into jokes, caption competitions, etc

Although your idea of a prize (passing baton on) ... sounds more of a penalty to me ... might put some off (or on the spot :lol:) ... howsabout a poll to pick the winner ... and volunteers for new pics each time ... just my thoughts ... :thinking:
