Guys,
I've kept quiet about this guy until I was happy with the quality and service on offer.

I've been using him for over 6 months now, and I must say his service is superb, and the quality is outstanding... the price is sensational.
He has just set up his website so you can order online.

Now, I've not had much experience of canvases, so if I was you ask your technical questions directly.. or check the website, all I can say is I'm over the moon with the quality, as are all my customers who have had canvases.

Just to give an idea of price a 20x30" canvas is £25 cost + £5 delivery!

Did you want me to mention you - will he/ she recognise your forum name? :)

Cheers,

James

Have you had any of the canvases in a room which has a lot of sunlight coming in? Just wondering if the canvases are fade proof at that price...

I haven't they are all in the studio..

Have a chat with Wills, he will give you good info on the subject.. I would imagine all canvases to fade in direct sunlight?

Unreal - got the artwork for six 30"x20" canvasses to Wills on Tuesday evening and they arrived looking fantastic, complete with mountings and beautifully bubble-wrapped this morning.

Nice bloke, kept me up to speed as he was going along and the quality's very good indeed.

I didn't ask but Wills did mention in an email to me "the prints are done using Epson pigment archival inks so you'll not get any problems with fading. I did a scenery canvas print back in April this year and accidentally put a stanley knife through it so hung it outside in the wind and rain and the print still look as vivid as when I framed it."

Thanks Andy, great recommendation and I made him aware you referred me.

Those ones were for the office at work so now all I need to do is choose what I'm going to have on my apartment wall :).

Cheers,

James

Good to hear my recommendation has gone down well :)

To answer the below question...
I dont, no and I've had quite a few done now :)

Quick question while on the subject of canvasses.........

Do you have to process the image any differently for a canvas than you would for a normal print? If so, in what way?

Thanks

just a quick review on this and the alternate thread

I wanted a gift for my good lady as I'd ready had a canvas done from our trip to venice a couple of years ago.
there was a 2nd picture that she really seemed to like so I looked around for a canvas print supplier

contated on monday/tuesday by phone and e-mail
the canvas was done and delivered on thursday.
20" x 30" for about £32 inc delivery
that's about 1/3 of the price of my local place and still cheaper than other online options.

my only critique would be that the picture seems a little dark. however, that could easily be down to my original as I prepared it on my laptop which is hardly the best method for photoediting!

I would not hesitate to use togsphotoshop again.
thanks for the recommendation

What about canvas wrap? are you losing some of the image due to it being wrapped around the frame.

You can have White, wrap or black I think! Don't recall any size or loss issues... Contact them and have a chat, Wills there is such a helpful chap, he will sort you out!

Hi to every one who's been in touch. Finally found a little time to register and post my first message. Thanks to Scoff for the introduction.

Will

In response to Stormcrow's question, the gallery wrap can either be part of the image or can be mirrored. On some of Scoffs photos they were tight to the edge to give impact so to ensure the picture does not lose the impact the edges are mirrored and made to look like it's part of the picture.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Will
