Morning everyone.

A newbie here so please be gentle with me! :-). I am just getting into photography, getting out and about with my 650d.

Now we are all friends! I would love to hear about who you would recommend using for having a canvas print done! It is my wedding anniversary next month and I wanted to surprise the wife with one of our wedding pictures on canvas. A couple of friends have recommended DS Color Labs and Trade Canvas. Cost (within reason) is not an issue as you get what you pay for in my book, quality of the print is what I am after.

Would love to hear your views on whether you have used these two companies, would you recommend someone else? Who is the mac daddy of canvas printing? :-)

Thanks for the reply wave. Just had a little look and they definitely look like a contender. It won't let me register at the moment though so am unsure if I will fall off my chair when I see their prices!
 
I used image 2 canvas. The canvas quality is sublime and the colour rendition is true to its nature.

Also they offer the most competitive price for custom sized canvas.
 
I've been using snapmad.co.uk and have been happy with their work up to 20" X 30", but if you don't want parts of your image to be wrapped around the frame then you need to be able to add a border yourself.
 
Thanks for the reply's guys. I have had some discussion with Oxford Imaging and Trade Canvas at the moment, both have good reviews.

For a black & white picture I was thinking of going for a white border rather than a wrap around. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Is that trade canvas print or prints! They are two similar companies! :-)
