I am thinking of subscribing to one of these and cannot decide which.

I already have a copy of photoshop 6 and lightroom 3.5 on the macbook but now ive moved to an Olympus omd em10 they dont recognise the raw files which is annoying.

Ive just today finished the one month trial of capture one pro 9 but its not like ive had the chance to use it every day and it's very differenct from lightroom, but I have been getting used to the different interface so that's not putting me off.

Added to this that im trying to regain my photomojo I guess im just after a sounding board on here.

Capture will be $12 a month so about £8 i guess and the photoshop subs is £8.57 but I don't really want to just base my decision on price. Ive heard the way raws are treated are much better in capture one so I have to admit im tempted to go that way.

So, does anyone have any thoughts, just wondering if i have missed something anywhere that I should consider?

I have gone from apples aperture to the photoshop cc option and so far so good. to be honest i looked at capture one but decided against it after doing a trial of photoshop and lightroom they just seemed to work for me

In my opinion they are different programmes for different uses.
I use Capture One as capture software and Photoshop for retouching. I couldn't be without either of them. Every image taken goes through both.
I know Capture One allows some post production with layers and raw adjustments but it's nothing on what Photoshop can do..

For me, after five years, Capture One!
In studio and in the PP room.
Adobe who?
