This is a weird one, for some reason I cant access my own website, whether its front or back end. Ive checked that the site is all up and ok for everyone else, but it only seems to be my home router thats blocking access to it. I've been trying to get someone at BT to solve the problem, but currently getting no where fast.

My web host is convinced its an ISP issue.

I'm using a Gateway 2wire router, which I've done a hard reset on.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

I can't access it either FWIW

This is when good hosting is worth it's weight in gold!

I had this with sky once they put me on a ban list for some reason, blew my top with them as huge traffic to site decrease because of it they sorted pretty much ASAP

^ changes what I thought.

Down for me on virgin broadband and three 3G on iPad. Just stalls on the home page, blank white screen.

Thank you all

Still seems to be partly down, yesterday my host was saying it was an issue with my IP. I've asked him to re-look first thing this morning.

Works fine here on TalkTalk, great picture on front page by the way!

Well it's still not working for me this morning. I would not be amused if it was me!

Which will probably fix his issue but not that of potential customers.. Needs to contact his web host.

He's currently saying its all fine, but I've had confirmation of it not running for others, as well as some of the TP folk!

Whats annoying is it's a VPS which I pay a lot of money for, and though I can talk to someone 24hrs a day, if I have a problem, its no good if they cant fix it!

Yeah, I think it may be that time :)

Update, just received this, though I'm not sure it explains the none BT customers having issues.

After speaking with the data centre they have confirmed that there is a routing issue with BT at the moment. BT use a POP (Point of Presence) in London called Lynx as one of their major peering points and it does look like this has been suffering intermittent issues over the weekend which would explain the intermittent loss of connectivity.

The problem is that if Lynx fails then customers who use BT will see packet loss and connectivity issues until the problem is fixed.

According to the data centre though Lynx have said they have resolved these issues so things should return to normal for BT customers shortly.

Strange

First thing this morning it wasn't working
Just checked again and now I it is

Tested on Claranet

It wouldn't work here first thing but now is OK.
I would put this down to weekend maintenance, no host guarantees 100% uptime, in reality any link in the complicated network could have been temporarily out of action leading to this peculiar business of loading for some but not others.

Wayhay!! it's working now!
