Just had the latest newsletter from Experience Seminars and noticed this interesting article about a new lens from canon. Canon EF 20-400mm f2.8 IO USM IS priced about £2800, link below, has anyone else heard on the grapevine about such a lens and what do you thing. Is it an answer to our motorsport / airshow dilemma's or is it another lemon like the 28-300mm.

not for crop sensors, owners would moan why nikon, sony and pentax have a 16-400mm version and that canon is fallig behind.
 
Oh well maybe next year :(
 
As I'm in the US at the moment, I'll make a call to B+S and see if I can order half a dozen, and sell them on the forum for an enormous profit.....:lol::lol:
