Hi Everybody - I am still musing over what to do about a carry around camera whilst I recover from a shoulder injury. I would be interested in hearing your views. I have a 5DII and a 7D and a bunch of lenses but have to use a grip with those and they are a tad heavy for me at the moment. I have a 50mm 1.4 and a fast wide amongst other things.

What would you choose? I like to do sport, people, go to Slimbridge and am becoming interested but have no experience of street photography.
Thanks

If your looking for a light carry around then I would go for the fuji 100S, its light, compact but fully featured and has the latest x trans sensor, the iQ from these sensors is amazing.
Its also got very fast autofocus, focus peaking and split screen focusing for manual focus.

Have you looked at the Olympus OM-D?

A lot of pro togs are switching to this or the fuji x series but the Olympus would handle sports better and has longer lenses! Stunning image quality from these little gems!

Focus tracking on OMD is a bit iffy for sports I believe

So I bought a G1X the day before FOCUS! It turns out I bought it cheaper than the show [which is good news!] and am looking forward to using it this weekend. I did film my L panel at FOCUS yesterday on it - very chuffed to have passed. :)
