Canon Vs Nikon from a Sony Upgrade

As Chris has put seems there is a Wilkinson in Warrington, there is also one in Liverpool where Jessops used to be if you'd prefer to head up that way. I've bought from their Liverpool and Southport stores before and the staff have been excellent in both, Southport were happy for me to handle cameras etc before purchasing. Might be worth a quick ring and see if they have the models you were looking at in stock

Or, imagine you want to mount a lens on your camera. Viewed from the front:

• the Canon mounts by locating the lens and rotating it clockwise;
• the Nikon mounts by locating the lens and rotating it anticlockwise;
  
• I don't know how the Sony works.

Or imagine you want to tweak the exposure whilst shooting. You look at the meter in the viewfinder:

• the Canon reads from -2 stops on the left to +2 stops on the right;
• the Nikon reads from +2 stops on the left to -2 stops on the right;
• I don't know what the Sony does.

Same as the Canon in both cases.
