Canon Tripod Mount Ring A II (W) cheap alternative

I am after a cheap copy of lens collar for my 70-200 f/4 for a couple of events.

I am not looking to make a loss by getting canon at over £130 - that is silly price for a slab of metal . Under £20 would sound better as long as it made reasonably and can support a 1D. Delivery within 7-8d would be great.

A II W (bent) design is strongly preferred to the earlier A W version (can get in a way of bottom hand grip)

P.S. Would I want any head for the monopod to go with it? Really not sure here.

I don't have any suggestions for suppliers, but I would suggest you prepare yourself for a bit of disappointment.

I've had a few Canon lens collars broken by customers. They don't seem to be repairable by either Canon or its authorised service centres, even when all they need is a new knob. Rather than pay £130 each for replacements, I sourced a few cheap copies. But I'm really appalled at the build quality of them. They're quite embarrassing. I'm keeping them in the spare parts cupboard for use in emergencies, but only in emergencies. I'm buying some genuine replacements.
